May 9th is Europe's Day, and the UAB European Documentation Center organised several activities to celebrate it. 

Europe’s Day celebrates peace and unity all across Europe. This date is marked by the anniversary of the historical Schuman’s Declaration, where he explained his idea about new political cooperation in Europe, which made war between european nations inconceivable. Schuman’s proposal is considered the beggining of EU as we know it nowadays.
