Amics UAB is sorry to communicate that, at date of 21st February 2022, Xavier Muñoz, former president of AmicsUAB, died ad age 94. 

 Xavier Muños i Pujol (1927-2022) was a textile entrepreneur, and occupied the charge of Councilor for Business Cooperation of Barcelona City Counicl (1994-1995 and 1998-1999). He is the author of books such as The diary economy in Catalonia (1984) or From left to right. Politic memories (1990), where he tells his experiences, from the war years until the last projects that he was involved on.

Amics UAB wants to remember his figure with this interview played on the 2018 Association party.

 The goodbye will take place on Wednesday, 23th February at 13:30, in the Sant Gervasi tanners.

Last but not least, we want to express our condolences to his family and friends. Rest in peace, Xavier.
