MOOC "European Union: History, Institutions and Policies"

The MOOC "European Union: History, Institutions and Policies" has already been published, in collaboration with the EUPOL Jean Monnet Chair.

A MOOC (Massive Online Open Courses) is an online course, free, without limit of places which anyone can sign up. It only involves expenses if the student wants to obtain the diploma (41 €). In this sense, members (and former members) of the UAB will be able to obtain the diploma free of charge by entering from this page.

The UAB joined this new form of learning in 2013, opting for Coursera. It was the first Spanish public university to enter this platform, where there are world leaders such as Stanford, Princeton, Caltech and Yale. Over the years, the UAB has become a benchmark in Spain and Europe in the world of MOOCs.

Regarding the course, it is a ambitious project as it covers virtually all fields of action in the EU, with materials that combine the informative style with the academic one. We think that the double objective of training and informing has been achieved, as it has not only been done with people who want to complete their CV with European topics, but also with those who aspire to improve their understanding of how the EU.
